Change and uncertainty are features of all workplaces and require effective leadership to ensure people remain engaged, motivated, healthy and productive.

Think about the changes you have experienced across your career to date. As human beings, do we really hate change? Change seems to be constant, and yet we handle it surprisingly well. Uncertainty though is entirely different. People really struggle with uncertainty, with our brain doing its best to work “quickly and accurately” to make sense of what we are experiencing. Unfortunately, in joining the dots and smoothing out the edges, we can often draw false conclusions. There is a reason conspiracy theories and paranoia flourish in times of uncertainty and unexpected change.

In this 60 to 90 minute masterclass we explore the predictable stages of change people work through and the role of the leader to help their team at each point. We outline the most effective ways for leaders to influence when things are uncertain. The masterclass also explores the fundamental human needs to have met, and the role of the leader in supporting their people to thrive.

The masterclass also includes some practical ways that leaders can increase clarity and certainty for themselves so they can then lead others effectively. You will leave the masterclass with practical ideas about how to lead people through times of change and uncertainty, while also looking after yourself in the process.

The masterclass can be conducted in an interactive format for up to 100 participants.
